Learning Disability Support in Abbey Wood and South London
Person-centred support that empowers independence, community access, and a life that’s truly yours.
Every person with a learning disability has the right to live the life they choose – to make their own decisions, to build relationships, to work, to learn, and to be part of their community. Our job is to provide the support that makes that possible.
AB Care Services delivers person-centred learning disability support that starts with who you are, not what you need. We take the time to understand your goals, your preferences, your communication style, and the things that matter most to you. Then we build support around you – support that grows and adapts as your life changes.
Our approach is grounded in Positive Behaviour Support, rights-based practice, and a genuine belief that support should expand your world, not shrink it.

Our Approach
Built on Positive Behaviour Support
Our learning disability service is built on the Positive Behaviour Support framework. We understand that behaviour is communication. When something isn’t working, we don’t look at the person – we look at the environment, the relationships, and the support around them. Our carers are trained in PBS principles, de-escalation, and person-centred communication. Every support plan is reviewed by our Registered Manager and, where appropriate, by specialist professionals.
