We publish our guide rates because we believe families deserve to know what care costs before they pick up the phone. These are starting prices – your actual rate depends on the complexity of care and the hours required. We’ll always give you a clear, written quote after your free assessment.

Weekend and bank holiday rates: 20% uplift. Two-carer visits (manual handling): approximately 1.6x the single carer rate. All rates subject to a free assessment.
Funding Options
Self-Funded / Private Pay
If you're paying for care yourself, you choose your provider, your hours, and your care plan. There are no waiting lists and no council involvement. We invoice you directly, monthly in arrears.
Local Authority Funded
If your local council has assessed your needs and agreed to fund your care, they may offer you a personal budget or arrange care directly. AB Care Services works with Greenwich and Bexley councils. If you have a council care package, ask your social worker about choosing us as your provider.
NHS Continuing Healthcare
If your care needs are primarily health-related, you may qualify for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC). This is fully funded by the NHS and is free at the point of use. Your GP or community nurse can refer you for a CHC assessment.
Direct Payments
If your council has given you a direct payment, you can use it to pay for care from AB Care Services. Direct payments give you control over who provides your care and when. We're happy to accept direct payment clients.
