Why we started AB Care Services
AB Care Services grew out of a simple question: what would we want if it were our own family?
We’d want to know who was coming through the front door. We’d want the same person to come back next time. We’d want someone to tell us how the visit went without having to chase. And we’d want to know that the care plan was clinically sound – not just well-intentioned, but properly reviewed by someone with the right qualifications.
So that’s what we built.
We’re a domiciliary care provider based in Abbey Wood, looking after adults in their own homes across South East and South London. We’re small by design, because we think the quality of care depends on the quality of relationships, and relationships need time, consistency, and attention.
Every care plan we write is reviewed by a registered nurse. Every visit is recorded on a family app your family can check from their phone. And the carer who comes on Monday is the same one who comes on Thursday – because your mum shouldn’t have to introduce herself twice.
We currently support families across the Royal Borough of Greenwich including Abbey Wood, Woolwich, Thamesmead, Plumstead, Charlton, Eltham, and Blackheath; the London Borough of Bexley including Bexleyheath, Welling, Erith, and Sidcup; the London Borough of Lewisham including Lee, Catford, and Hither Green; and the London Borough of Bromley including Beckenham, Penge, and Chislehurst. We’re expanding into Southwark, Lambeth, Croydon, and further across South London throughout 2026 and 2027.
Meet the Team
Registered Manager
Brooklyn brings experience in mental health support and a deep commitment to person-centred care. As our Registered Manager, she oversees every care plan, supervises every carer, and is personally accountable for the quality and safety of our service. She is currently completing her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
Clinical Nurse
Our registered nurse provides clinical oversight across AB Care Services. Every care plan is reviewed for clinical accuracy. Every medication regime is checked. Every complex care case has a qualified nurse involved in the planning. This is what sets AB Care apart from other local providers.
Nurse-led care plan oversight
Every care plan at AB Care Services is reviewed by a registered nurse before care begins and at every formal review. This means your loved one’s medications are correctly recorded, health conditions are properly accounted for, and the care plan reflects current clinical best practice. Most independent domiciliary care providers in our area don’t have a nurse on their team. We do.
